The meeting aimed to sign a joint cooperation agreement and to discuss several issues related to radioactive material sources within the company and the potential for ongoing collaboration between the two parties. Dr. Mohamed Abdulmalik Al-Faqih, Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, emphasized that the company pays great attention to this matter through the safe storage of these materials, monitoring their lifespan, and conducting regular inspections to ensure full compliance with legally permitted limits. On his part, Eng. Al-Hashimi Al-Abyad, Chairman of the Atomic Energy Corporation, expressed his pleasure in renewing cooperation with one of the largest industrial companies, aiming to regulate the use of radioactive materials in industry and ensure they pose no threat to human life. The meeting concluded with the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between the company and the National Atomic Energy Corporation to monitor these sources and the surrounding environments, such as soil, bricks, and scrap materials, ensuring their safety.
